What we do

Brazil's producers are world-class. Reaching them is the hard part.

Most export in full containers of one product, with minimums set for large importers. Many kitchens need something different: a mix of products, a few hundred kilos by air, or one shipment that brings several suppliers together. That is the space we work in.

  • Mixed loadsSeveral brands and categories in one container, on one invoice.
  • Small by airPremium cuts, specialty coffee and samples, shipped fast from São Paulo.
  • No single-product minimumOrder the range you need, not the volume a factory sets.
  • Export paperworkSanitary certificates, halal documents, customs and freight handled in Brazil.
  • Local supportA team on the ground where the goods arrive, starting with the Maldives.

The FullSet model

One category. Full variety. One rate.

Most Brazilian meat and fruit is exported cut by cut: the prime cuts go to the highest bidder and the rest is discounted. A FullSet works the other way. You buy the whole animal, or the whole harvest list, in its natural proportions, at one blended rate per kilo for an agreed period.

FullSet of Beef13 main cuts

FullSet of LambOne animal · 10 cuts

FullSet of Fruits10 fruits · one pallet

What goes into a FullSet, and in what proportion.

  1. 01

    Whole Animal Standard

Every main cut of the carcass, prime and secondary, travels in the same load. Nothing is left behind at the plant, and the whole animal finds its place on your menu or your shelf.

  2. 02

    One blended rate

One price per kilo across every cut, fixed for the agreed period. Easier to budget than a price list of twenty items, and fairer than paying a premium only for the cuts everyone wants.

  3. 03

    Priority with the producer

Because the plant sells the whole animal instead of a few cuts, FullSet buyers are allocated first, with consistent grading, labelling and paperwork from one source.

Consolidation

Several brands. One shipment.

You don’t need a full container from one producer. Smaller quantities from several of our brands can travel together, as long as they share the same conditions on the way.

About us

Built by hoteliers, for the people who run kitchens.

Unan Trading operates from Brazil and the Maldives, with teams on both ends of every shipment.

Our leadership comes from the hotel side of the table, with senior roles at Club Med, Raffles and InterContinental Hotels. That is where the idea started. The best Brazilian producers rarely reached the hotels that would value them most, because the volumes and paperwork did not fit.

So we built the bridge: we select the brands, visit the farms and plants, consolidate the orders and stay close once the goods arrive.

Branch · Maldives

Unan Trading Maldives

Our first branch, based in Malé, supplying resorts and local retailers with Brazilian beef, coffee, beverages and pantry lines, with local delivery to resort supply boats.
